Information you provide

If you create a candidate account, we collect your email address and whatever you add to your profile — name, education, certifications, and an optional resume upload. Your resume stays private unless you both upload one and make your profile public; in that case it's linked from your public profile page. If you choose to make your profile public, the fields you've marked visible (including your resume, if uploaded) are shown at a public URL; anything you haven't added or haven't made public stays private.

You can also express interest in specific companies or job listings while signed in. Those individual expressions of interest are private and are never shown on your public profile. We may use them in aggregate — for example, telling a company “N candidates on the platform have expressed interest in you” — but never in a way that identifies you individually to that company without your separate, explicit consent.

Job and company listing data

The job and company listings on this site are sourced from companies' own public career pages and applicant tracking systems (e.g. Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and similar platforms), not submitted by candidates. This data describes employers and open roles, not site visitors, and is refreshed on a recurring schedule so closed postings are marked accordingly.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site — which pages get traffic, how people navigate, and general usage patterns. This does not run until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent to either service for that session. You can find more about what each service collects in Google's privacy policy and PostHog's privacy policy. If you're signed in and have accepted analytics cookies, we associate your usage data with your account so we can understand how logged-in candidates use the site; this association is never shown publicly or shared with employers.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We use third-party infrastructure providers to run the site — Supabase for our database, authentication, and file storage, and Vercel for hosting — who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Aggregate interest signal, as described above, may be shared with employers; individually identifying profile data is only shared with an employer if you take an action that discloses it to them directly (for example, applying to one of their listings).

Your choices

You can edit your profile information, replace your resume, or change your profile's visibility at any time from your account settings. To remove your resume entirely, or to request deletion of your account and associated data, email contact@superpositionjobs.com. We'll confirm once it's done.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
